龙一社区在广东省肇庆市鼎湖区桂城街道内，处在鼎湖山东面、西江北岸。因整个村子呈一字形，像一条龙，故名“龙一”。东面紧邻广利街道的龙二居委，西面是坑口街道的罗隐居委，南临西江，北靠国道321线，莲花大道从社区中间通过。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
元末明初，李姓人家从南雄迁到这里建村。[2]
此后的行政归属：1953年归高要县第八区龙头乡，1955年3月随龙头乡转到广利区，1958年编入广星人民公社一团。1959年定名龙一大队，1983年成龙一乡，1986年改称龙一村，属广利镇。1992年12月，社区被划出广利，成为桂城街道办事处下的龙一居委会，2002年起叫龙一社区居委会。[2]
地理环境与人口[edit]
社区面积约4平方千米，属亚热带气候，年均气温22℃左右，年降雨量约1700毫米。[1]辖9个居民小组和12个自然村，即横村、水口村、富溪村、钟俞村、聚龙社，以及大谭、大石、西北谭、新田梁、东园李、东园梁、榄根石等村。居民442户1367人，耕地729亩，收入来源主要是种植养殖和外出打工。[1]
荣誉[edit]
龙一社区在2022年8月被列为「2022年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」的创建单位。[1]
