平堡村是信宜市丁堡镇位于镇境西部的行政村，下设17个村民小组，耕地约1347亩[1]。

年均气温18.9℃，年降水量约1690毫米，属南亚热带季风型气候[1]。
地名由来[edit]
以前此地修有一座堡垒，在战争中被毁，如今已无踪迹，村名取“平”字以记其事[2]。
历史沿革[edit]
平堡村的建制变化依次是：1961年为大队，1983年改作乡，1986年前后组建村民委员会，1989年设管理区办事处，1999年定为现名[1]。
