大沙村是信宜市丁堡镇位于镇境东南部的行政村，下设26个村民小组，耕地约1287.9亩[1]。

村里的作物，以水稻、荔枝、龙眼为主；村民约3202人，辖区面积5.75平方千米[1]。
年均气温19.8℃，年降水量约1650毫米，属南亚热带季风型气候[1]。
地名由来[edit]
这块地是河水冲刷、泥沙堆积而成的沙堆，故名“大沙”[2]。
历史沿革[edit]
大沙村的建制变化依次是：1961年为大队，1983年改作乡，1986年前后组建村民委员会，1989年设管理区办事处，1999年定为现名[1]。
荣誉[edit]
- 2021年12月，获广东省爱卫会授予「2021年广东省卫生村」称号[1]
