历史沿革[edit]
该村1953年为陈村乡，1958年为陈村生产大队，1983年复称乡，1987年设村民委员会，1989年称管理区，1999年重称村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
经济[edit]
博雅地名网说，村里的主要产业是海水养殖，有网箱养殖、鱼塘和虾塘；发展思路是利用海洋资源，搞活海产品流通，做强陈村美食一条街的餐饮服务。[1]同一页给出的人口为4477人，但该数字与白石村页面的完全相同，来源存疑。[1]
