潭鳌村是广东省湛江市徐闻县角尾乡的行政村，位于角尾圩北约4公里，下分潭鳌、孟宁、养逢、大备、小备、北胜六个村民小组，据百度百科共1004户4193人。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

潭鳌在1958年是生产大队，1984年一度称乡，1989年改作管理区，1999年成为村民委员会，名称沿用到现在。[1][2]

概况[edit]

村处干旱地区，年降水量不足1000毫米，曾因人多地少发展受限，经济以渔业和耕种为主，农产品有芦笋、山药、菠菜等。帮扶单位中，深圳市市场监督管理局出资62.5万元，办了六个帮扶项目，其中一项是替村集体买海鲜运输车；广州市南沙区派驻的工作队则推广“惠农e贷”，发展扇贝养殖。[2]2018年，该村列入「广东省民主法治示范村」创建单位。[2]
