历史沿革[edit]
高碧1950年建乡，之后经历初级社（1953年）、高级社（1955年），1958年成了高碧大队。1983年改为管理区，1986年分建村民委员会，1989年由村改为管理区，1999年再设村民委员会，此后一直沿用[1]。2019年9月，高碧村被列为2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位[1]。
名胜古迹[edit]
抗法团练总部旧址原是清代潜移书院，又称王氏宗祠，三进两院的砖木结构，现存房屋1间、旗墩2座；1899年遂溪团练在这里设总部，同年11月黄略失陷，建筑被毁[2]。1961年，广东省人民委员会把它列为文物保护单位[2]。博雅地名网则称旧址在黄略村的王氏公祠，一说黄略村包括高碧在内[3][4]。
