赤坎村是广东省江门市鹤山市沙坪街道下辖的行政村，位于街道东部，南接雅瑶镇，东邻新会，在大雁山脚、鹤山公园旁，辖10个村民小组，常住人口1600人，距街道办事处约2公里、距鹤山市中心约4公里。[1]
开村时这里是丘陵山岗，地面高低不平，俗称一尺一步坎，村名由此而来。[1]
经济[edit]
村以工业生产为主，辖区约980亩，工业区内有制衣、机械设备等企业。[1] 2022年，该村成为江门市发展新型农村集体经济的专项改革试点，集体收入翻了一番，达到700万元；阿斯麦新材料科技有限公司等企业落户村内。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2021年12月，村获2021年广东省卫生村称号；名列「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位名单（2023年4月公布）；2026年1月获评广东省第二批「百千万工程」典型村。[1]
