历史沿革[edit]
据百度百科，村子明崇祯年间由李姓先祖自石步村迁来建成。民国时设石乔乡，乡名各取石步村和桥下村的一个字；到2004年，古猛村并入，辖区才成今天的样子[1]。
经济[edit]
全村耕地4368亩，鱼塘占860亩，山林约一万亩，生产以种植业为主[1]。2021年和2022年，村子获评广东省卫生村[1]。公交233路延伸到村里设终点站，通往江门站[1]。
