历史沿革[edit]
明清时，独岗、岑水属崇化乡清泰都；民国时期属二区崇德乡。1958年设独岗、岑水两个大队，归三洲公社；1980年，大沙公社改称人和公社，两村随之改属。1987年设两个村委会，隶人和镇。[3]
2004年，独岗、岑水、古一、古二四个村委会撤销，合设岗水村委会；2005年镇区划调整后，改属杨和镇。[3]
人口与经济[edit]
常住的户籍居民约3690人，流动人口约1600人；经联社有4个，经济社7个。[2]耕地3000亩，鱼塘2000亩，山地3000亩，森林覆盖率90%；村民主要靠种植养殖为生，辖区内有100多家工厂，从事金属、五金和轻工业生产。村委会靠近大沙水库。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，岗水村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2021年12月获2021年广东省卫生村称号，2023年5月，所属独岗村、古一村、古二村获2022年广东省卫生村称号。[1]
