历史沿革[edit]
村名的由来，博雅地名网说法是：此地初名莲坳，意为建在山坳里的村；后因“莲”“连”、“坳”“滘”读音相近，改写为连滘。土地改革时（1952年）属治和乡；公社化后设大队（1958年）；其后改称管理区（1986年），2004年起为村民委员会。[2]

百度百科称，村以种养业为主，该条目给出的数字是：村集体经济2021年总收入20916万元，农民人均年纯收入8718元（原文如此）；下属股份经济合作社将鱼塘、耕地出租。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
据百度百科，村中罗氏宗祠始建于清嘉庆年间，为岭南风格建筑，曾作为中共三水县工委机关的驻地，现用作基层文化传播场所。[1]
