地名由来[edit]
据现存南明永历四年（1650年）的《宝月堂重修碑记》和史料，禅宗六祖惠能云游时曾在这座庙宇驻足，题名“宝月堂”，宝月村民委员会因此得名。[1]宝月堂现对外开放。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
原名东鲁乡。50年代初东鲁乡属河口区，1957年改归南边区公所。南边建人民公社后，东鲁乡改作东鲁大队，所辖村不变；1961年至1962年底曾短暂划入高丰区公所，1963年回到南边。此后经历革命委员会时期（1969年），到1980年12月恢复为东鲁生产大队。[1]
