历史沿革[edit]
百度百科称村子建村已有九百多年。[3] 海口在1956年称海锋社，1957年4月撤区并乡后属张槎大乡，始称海口村；1958年归超英公社，因当时处于战备状态，也叫「海口营」，下设三个连队。1983年底改建乡，1987年起归张槎镇管辖，改称村民委员会，1989年一度叫管理区，1999年恢复村委会之名；2002年12月随张槎镇划入禅城区，2003年9月改由张槎街道管辖。[4]

全村土地1613亩，分海一到海七七个村民小组，共970户。[2][3]

名胜古迹[edit]
百度百科列出村内的景点有西隐陈公祠、少泉祖祠、爱源庞公祠，另有庞氏大宗祠、陈氏大宗祠、翕然家塾、大仙庙和六角亭，并称现存的是前两处祠堂。[3]
经济[edit]
集体经济以物业出租和个体私营经济为主，借南风古灶景区的发展办起了连锁公仔厂。[2] 2021年、2022年海口村进入「淘宝村」名单。[1] 百度百科称，张槎站（地铁2号线）周边规划有中央产业区。[3]
