历史沿革[edit]
大队下分第南、第北、清水、高社、田心、东西、白屋七个生产队。大沙在人民公社时期设为大队（1958年）；1983年底改建乡，1987年起归张槎镇管辖，改称村民委员会，1989年一度叫管理区，1999年恢复村委会之名；2002年12月随张槎镇划入禅城区，2003年9月改由张槎街道管辖。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村域面积约1.1平方千米，大部分土地已因城市建设被征用；共7个村民小组，有东西、清水、田心、高社等。[2]
人口民族[edit]
博雅地名网记村内常住人口2010人、外来人口1.5万多（未注明年份）。[2]
经济[edit]
2005年全村工业总产值1.45亿元。[2] 村里借「三旧改造」推进旧工业区更新：先把五峰路以南、槎湾路东西两侧165200平方米（约247.8亩）集体用地转为国有用地，随后又将大沙工业区大道以南、槎湾路西侧约144亩纳入改造，与恒强房地产公司联合开发。[2] 大沙村2021年、2022年进入「淘宝村」名单。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
大沙杨氏大宗祠在大沙东西村，为清代祠堂，祀明崇祯年间进士杨邦瀚，现仅存头进，头进面阔五间，门前有一对石狮。[3]
