葛洲社区是广东省汕头市濠江区达濠街道辖下的社区居委会，在街道东北面，深汕高速公路从辖区穿过，海湾大桥的一端落在村岭上。辖区面积约7.8平方千米，有2010户、8210人，是知名的侨乡。[1]2019年3月，社区入选第六批广东省古村落。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
宋代，蓝、许、翁等姓最早在东面临海的北山山麓橄榄石脚一带建乡，称「清江乡」。明洪武元年（1368年）因海寇屡屡劫掠，居民内迁到凉亭，仍遭洗劫，才再迁到现址；这里遍地葛藤，又临沙洲，于是名为葛洲。[2]
葛洲旧时归潮阳县沙埔都管，西畔一片则在招收都。1946年东湖、澳头与它并为潮光乡，1950年起单独成乡，1958年设葛洲村，1975年划归礐石公社，1984年设葛洲乡，1999年6月设葛洲居委会，2003年起属濠江区达濠街道。[2]
文化[edit]
葛洲是知名的侨乡。[1]近年濠江区把葛洲与澳头、东湖三个侨村划入「最美侨乡风貌带」，对葛兴路、乡前路、商业街和大池周边作了整治，并建有口袋公园和山顶公园。[3]
