新华社区是汕头市金平区石炮台街道下辖的社区，居委会设在华侨新村路19号1座。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1980年，从新梅街道华坞居委会分出设立，当时属金砂区；1991年属金园区陵海街道。2002年11月，陵海街道的华西居委会和华东居委会合并，改名金园区石炮台街道新华居委会，「新华」之「华」即取自原来的华西、华东，「新」是新设之意。2003年4月称金平区石炮台街道新华居委会。[1]
地理环境[edit]
面积0.15平方千米，北侧是金砂中路，南侧是长平路，向东到金陵路，向西到汕樟路，下设14个居民小组，主要干道为华侨新村路。[1]
