洋滨社区在汕头市龙湖区龙祥街道境内，位于汕樟路以南、嵩山路以东、金新北路以北、泰山路以西，原是官埭一带的洋边村[1][2]。官埭纪氏大宗祠在这里的北门街口[3]。

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，元末明初有纪姓人家迁来立乡，村东临官埭东畔港，西在大洋的西南侧，起初叫“官埭洋边”，后取“边”与“滨”读音相近，改称洋滨[1]。

人口经济[edit]

社区概况记：共1008户、3723人，农业人口占565人，土地约550亩。居委会与经济联合社是一套班子、两块牌子，集体收入来自出租征地后留用的土地、集体用地和通用厂房、老厂房等，每年约150万元，而每年要负担的各项费用在110万至120万元之间。社区有享受最低生活保障的33户[2]。

名胜古迹[edit]

官埭纪氏大宗祠建于清代，2014年10月10日汕头市公布其为市级文物保护单位[3]。
