荷包村是珠海市金湾区南水镇下辖的行政村，原是荷包岛上的渔村，现多数村民住在南水镇中心的荷包新村。[1][2]村名取自荷包岛，岛的轮廓似“W”形，当地人把钱袋叫“荷包”，岛和村由此得名。[1]

建村经过[edit]

荷包村的村民原属高栏大队，这是一个半渔半农的大队，地少人多，生活困难。经上级同意，渔农分开，1975年将35户渔民迁往荷包岛，1976年立荷包渔业大队，1984年设荷包乡人民政府，1987年改作荷包村委会，名称沿用。[1]百度百科则记建村时有38户，并称1976至1977年荷包大队是南水收入第二高的渔业大队。[2]

整村搬迁[edit]

岛上长期缺医少学。2013年，高栏港区启动荷包新村建设，至2018年全村453人迁入南水镇中心的新村，人均居住面积由17.5平方米增至50平方米。[2]搬迁后集体收入靠商铺出租和“星光夜市”等项目。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2021年，荷包村认定为广东省森林乡村。2022年8月，它成为省民主法治示范村（社区）的创建单位。2023年，村里获珠海市“充分就业示范社区（村）”称号，11月又列入“百千万工程”首批典型之中。[1][2]
