地名由来[edit]
此处明代尚在海中，叫“浪白”，是一个天然良港，名“浪白澳”。以澳为界，南面称南水，北面称北水。1878年（清光绪四年），渔获交易日趋兴旺，浪白开了一处“南水墟”，南水的名称自此固定下来。[2]
