历史沿革[edit]
石围一带原属将石村。将石村最早见于清嘉庆二十四年（1819年）的《新安县志》，志中说它归三都福永司[2]。新中国成立后，它先隶宝安县第七区东周乡，1959年前属松岗人民公社玉塘管理区，1961年改隶公明人民公社[2]。
1962年，将军围、新庄、石家、盆石围四队并为将石大队；1983年设将石乡，1986年改称村；2004年7月城市化改制，成为将石社区居委会，归马田街道[2]。2017年2月28日，将石社区分为将围、石围、石家、新庄四个社区，光明新区统战和社会建设局同意了这一方案，新社区的名字沿用并队前的旧名[2][3]。
荣誉[edit]
2022年3月，石围社区列入「第一批深圳市绿色（宜居）社区」名单[1]。
