历史沿革[edit]
博雅地名网称薯田埔村建于清嘉庆年间[2]。新中国成立初期，它被编入宝安县第七区的公明乡；1963年撤区并社，同马山头一道组成公明公社的马田大队，1981年起单独设大队[2]。宝安撤县设区后的1993年，归深圳市宝安区公明镇；2004年7月城市化改制，成立社区居委会，后来划入马田街道[2]。
文化[edit]
社区服务中心2011年11月设立，委托深圳市北斗社区工作服务中心经营，服务对象是老年人、残疾人、妇女、儿童和外来务工人员提供服务[1]。
荣誉[edit]
2022年8月，薯田埔社区列入「第二批深圳市绿色（宜居）社区」名单[1]。2023年12月广东省司法厅公布的「2023年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」名单中有薯田埔社区[4]。2024年，社区与新庄社区一同获评深圳市「百分百行动」百优社区[5]。
