竹坑社区是深圳市坪山区龙田街道下辖的社区，原属坪山街道，当地称为革命老苏区。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名来自村前担鱼肚河：这条山间溪流两岸长满竹林，故称竹坑。[2]新中国成立之初，竹坑归惠阳县坪山联治乡；1958年12月改属宝安县，先后是坪山公社竹坑大队（至1981年4月）、竹坑乡（1981至1983年），以及坪山镇下的竹坑村民委员会（1983年至1999年8月）。[1]2004年4月1日辖区居民统一农转非，同年9月3日更名为坪山街道竹坑社区居民委员会。[1]
文化[edit]
2011年12月，社区服务中心在竹坑开办，使用场地420多平方米，设有七类功能室，包括图书室、儿童乐园等，由5名专业社工和1名辅助人员为老人、青少年、妇幼家庭和外来工提供服务。[3]2019年9月，社区名列「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」；2022年8月被认定为第二批深圳市绿色（宜居）社区。[1]
