坪田村是始兴县深渡水乡所辖的行政村，与长梅、深渡水、横岭三村相邻[1]。据博雅地名网，村子在2019年3月入选第六批广东省古村落，2021年9月又进入第二批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单，产业为蜂蜜[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
坪田在1958年属禾坪生产大队，1987年成为坪田管理区，归深渡水乡管。1998年撤销管理区，由坪田村村民委员会接替[1]。
荣誉[edit]
另有「2023年广东省卫生村」之名，命名在2024年3月[1]。
