历史沿革[edit]
刘屋原是1958年司前大队的一部分，1962年单独设大队，两年后重回司前大队。司前大队于1983年撤销，原地设刘屋乡，随后在1987年成为管理区，到1998年管理区撤销、改设村民委员会。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
刘屋村民居坐北朝南，民居宽52米、深35米，中央为祖堂，住宅分列两侧，设东、南、西三道头门。围楼东西长74.5米、宽26米，共四层，约13米高，外圈呈回字形，西面门匾题「伟堂」，东面题「荣光」，建于清道光甲辰年；民居与围楼用青砖和木料连成一体。[2]
荣誉[edit]
刘屋村名列2019年12月公布的第一批国家森林乡村；该年9月，又在2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位之列。[1]
