九沙社区是广州市黄埔区鱼珠街道的渔民村社区，在黄埔大道南侧、珠江北岸，东临鱼珠码头，西与鱼珠木材市场相接，三面与鱼珠社区相连。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
名称来历有两说：一说此地在珠江下游，淤积成许多沙丘，围海填土建村后历次丈量面积都是90余亩；另一说退潮后露出的石堆如狗兜，旁边沙丘上的小草使沙丘形似小狗，称「狗仔沙」，粤语「狗」与「九」谐音，遂称九沙。社区于2002年设立。[1]
经济[edit]
博雅地名网载，社区有136户、户籍人口573人，占地约2万平方米，沿江建有渔港。居民以捕捞为主，作业方式有浅水浸缯、拖虾、浸虾等，渔获多为鱼、虾、贝类。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2024年11月认定为「2024年广州市充分就业社区」。[1]
