历史沿革[edit]
70年代起称黄埔街第八居委会，2002年区划调整，改名港湾五村社区居民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
地理环境[edit]
辖区南起港湾路街心公园，沿港湾路至裕港大厦，再沿大沙东路到198号，面积约0.8平方千米，共有8个较为分散的居民小区。[1]
人口民族[edit]
博雅地名网所载介绍（未注明年份）称，社区有住户1517户、居民约3600人，其中户籍住户780户、户籍居民约2600人。[1]
