历史沿革[edit]
海北与海中、海南合称“海”，海北一带旧称“芙蓉沙”，当地人认为这是芳村较早见于记载的地名之一；远古时芳村尚未连成陆地，只有零星沙地和岛屿。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2021年11月，海北社区获广州市住房和城乡建设局评定为「广州市2021年绿色社区」；2024年11月，入选「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」名单。[1]
社区生活[edit]
海北市场旁设有街道的垃圾分类定时投放点，配有语音提示和洗手盆。[3]
