历史沿革[edit]
相传增滘村四面环水，涌与滘很多，又有四条路通向村外，形状像捕虾用的“缯”，“缯”与“增”同音，村名由此而来。[1]
荣誉[edit]
增滘社区获住建部门评定为「广州市2021年绿色社区」（2021年11月）；2024年11月，社区入选「2024年广州市充分就业社区（村）」名单。[1]
文化[edit]
增滘与龙溪、海北、海中、海南合称海龙围的五个经济联社，各村多有自己的龙舟，每年端午前后举行龙舟活动。[2]
