连北村是连州镇的一个行政村，村委会驻地在连州圩北面，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

公元1516年，黄氏始祖由泷水县迁入，形成村委最早的村落；公元1546年，覃氏始祖亦由泷水县迁入。[2]

1958年公社化后，连北属连州公社连北生产大队；1983年设连北乡，隶属连州区；1986年改设连北村民委员会，1989年改设连北管理区，1999年复称连北村委会。[2]

文化[edit]

2023年11月，本村被命名为第五批云浮市「民主法治示范村（社区）」。[1]
