镇安村是太平镇的行政村，村中有引太水闸。据博雅地名网，梁氏始祖第对公于明弘治十四年（1501年）前后迁来落户，村庄当时隶属泷水县二都。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

清代村地属罗定州二都顺仁乡。1910年至1931年间，村地设为镇安堡，统辖13个自然村，归第三区太平团；1931年起设镇安乡，下辖5里。1937年至1941年撤乡改保，1941年至罗定解放初隶属第三区太平乡。[2]

1958年秋，此地改为镇安营，归罗镜公社；次年底改为镇安大队，1961年起归太平公社。1983年大队改为镇安乡；1986年11月改设镇安村民委员会，1989年设管理区，1998年9月重设村委会，沿用至今。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

引太水闸位于镇安村，是引太水工程唯一的入水口。据博雅地名网，闸体长75米，坝高11.7米，是罗定首座混凝土动力坝；溢洪面设6个闸孔，每孔8米宽，采用的是首座自动翻板闸的设计。[1]
