龙凤村是罗定市双东街道下辖的行政村，村名取自旧时辖区内的两个农会。[1]

地名由来[edit]

辖区内曾设龙美塘、凤竹两个农会，各取一字合成村名。1954年组建农业生产合作社时定名为龙凤。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

公元1600年，陈姓始祖从罗定市素龙的新屋地迁居凤油坪自然村落户，这是本村委最早的自然村落。[2]此后梁、欧、叶等姓始祖相继迁入。[2]村委会现有陈、欧、梁、叶等4姓，其中梁姓最多。[2]

1958年公社化后，该地并入罗城公社双东大队。[2]1983年撤大队设乡，1986年撤乡设村委会，1998年5月恢复村委会名称，属双东街道。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2020年11月，龙凤村被授予「第六届全国文明村镇」称号。[1]2022年1月，省乡村振兴局把龙凤村列为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位。[1]2019年9月，龙凤村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
