大湾社区是郁南县大湾镇下辖的社区，是全镇唯一的社区，属镇中心区。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

社区的前身是1952年设立的居民委员会。2001年才改称社区居委会；2005年，社区首届居民委员会经选举产生，此后名称一直沿用。[2]

隶属关系的变化：1952年归郁南县第五区管辖；1958年划入七一人民公社与大湾公社；1968年归大湾人民公社革命委员会；1983年归大湾区公所，1987年起归大湾镇人民政府。[2]
