历史沿革[edit]
民国时荷木村属永安乡。1950年划入郁南县第三区并设为行政村；1955年归建城区，1957年隶属通门乡。1958年成为东方红与通门两个人民公社下的生产大队，其后又设小乡；1968年由通门人民公社革委会管理，1983年归通门区公所，1987年改归通门乡人民政府，称管理区；1999年恢复为荷木村民委员会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，荷木村上榜「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
