新乐村是平台镇下辖的行政村。村名的来历是：民国时期，由新和、新河、新乐三个乡合并组成「三乐乡」，寓意三乡并合、快乐相处；建国初称新河乡，1958年建行政村时改称「新乐」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村内主要有聂、岑、黎、莫、梁等姓。[1]

清代此地属桥亭堡，民国时设三乐乡公所，建国后三乐改为新河乡管辖。1950年为新河乡辖下的一片，1954年改为「金星高级农业合作社」，1958年建生产大队，改以新乐为名。1983年成为新乐村乡人民政府所在地，1987年定为村委会，1989年设管理区，1999年又设村委会。[1]
