西联村位于六祖镇西部。1949年后，几个旧大队合并为一个大队，取名「西联大队」，村名由此而来，村委会驻地在西联村，故以村名称之[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

建国后，此地先后隶属县一区、南平区，1957年4月起隶船岗乡，1958年11月划归集成公社，称西联大队。1983年撤社建区后设船岗区公所西联乡，1987年4月为船岗镇西联管理区，1999年9月改为西联村民委员会，2003年10月转入集成镇，2004年4月改归六祖镇[2]。
