东北社区位于天堂镇政府的北面，以镇政府为地标中心划分附近村居的辖区范围时，它处于北侧。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

元朝至正年间，各姓先祖从中原或南雄珠玑巷迁入，立社主公以社为名，属天堂三十六社的一部分。1958年，它属天堂公社，称东北大队；1983年撤销人民公社，改称东北乡；1989年设东北管理区，1999年改为东北社区居民委员会。[2]
