凤山村位于太平镇，村落建在凤山山脚下，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1949年10月后村地属新兴县第三区共成乡。1950年至1955年间，此地设二庙乡，据载原是二庙洞的互助组织，之后发展为农业合作社。[2] 1958年归共成乡人民委员会，同年设社圩公社下的凤山大队，1959年改属共成公社。[2] 1983年设凤山乡，归共成区；1986年11月设共成镇凤山管理区；1999年改为共成镇凤山村委会。[2] 2003年划归太平镇，称凤山村民委员会，沿用至今。[2]

文化[edit]

村中建有「冠军小公园」，将体育精神融入乡村景观。本村出身的小轮车选手廖婉仪，在第十五届全运会上夺得该项目冠军。[3]
