历史沿革[edit]

1949年前此地属永安局辖，1949年10月划入新兴县第二区台安乡。1958年11月，棠下大队归稔村公社管辖，1959年至1961年春改属水台公社。[1]

1993年起隶属水台镇，1999年改为棠下村民委员会。[1]

2024年3月，棠下村被授予「广东省卫生村」称号（2023年度）；同年4月，棠下村入选「第一批广东省乡村振兴示范村」创建名单。[1]
