六马村是高村镇的一个行政村。村前有两座山，左边的叫入山马，右边的形似鹿仔，两地各取一字为名，“鹿”与“六”谐音，遂称六马。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

1953年先组成互助组，次年升为初级农业合作社。1958年至1983年间属人民公社。1986年在镇村建制下称六马村委会；1989年改为管理区；1999年重定为六马村委会。[2]
