南盛镇是广东省云浮市云城区下辖的镇，位于云城区东南部，东与前锋镇相接，北与云城街道相邻，西与云安区石城镇相交，南与云安区富林镇相邻。全镇辖1个社区和15个行政村，圩镇设在料洞村。[1][3]

南盛镇1986年10月设镇，此前曾称南盛公社、朝阳公社，并一度称朝阳区。2014年9月，原属云安县的南盛镇划归云城区管辖。柑桔种植是镇内的主要产业，镇内还有卧龙湖风景名胜。[2][4][5]

历史沿革[edit]

清同治年间（1862～1874年）当地设有料洞堡和漆洞堡。民国十五年（1926年）堡改为乡，此后又分出横江、料洞、铁场几个乡。[5]

1958年4月，三乡并为料洞乡，当年10月又设幸福之路公社。1961年划出南盛公社，1964年更名为朝阳公社，1983年再改作朝阳区。1986年10月复设南盛镇。[5][3]

镇名取自其位于云城（云浮县）南部，寓意繁荣昌盛。[3] 2014年9月，国务院同意撤销云安县，南盛镇随之划归云城区管辖。[2][5]

地理环境[edit]

南盛镇位于云雾山北麓，最高海拔560米，平均海拔220米。[4] 辖区面积，百度百科作139.34平方千米，博雅地名网作约136平方千米。[1][3] 气候属亚热带季风性气候。[1]

镇内圩镇在料洞村。东面的县道通往前锋镇和新兴县，西面的县道接石城镇，北面的公路直通云浮市区。[4]

百度百科载，2019年末户籍人口为38674人。[1] 博雅地名网引第七次全国人口普查结果，记南盛镇人口为2.61万人。[3]

经济[edit]

柑桔是南盛镇的主要农产品，沙糖桔等品种在镇内大面积种植。2003年，云浮市科技局批准镇里的柑桔种植作为技术创新试点；2004年，省科技厅定下南盛为省内首个柑桔专业镇。[4]

文化[edit]

2007年，南盛镇被评为「广东省旅游特色镇（柑桔原生态）」。2008年，镇里获得「中国沙糖桔第一镇」荣誉称号，由中国果品流通协会授予；同年还被评为「广东省新农村建设科技示范镇」和「广东省食品安全示范镇」。[4]

2022年1月，南盛镇获评「2021年度广东省卫生城镇」。2026年5月，南盛镇入选「广东省第一批开展现代化建设的中心镇」名单。[3]
