红阳村是云城区河口街道下辖的行政村。1966年，此地由原大队改为红阳大队，据称该名寓意一心向着毛主席；1999年成为村委会后，名称仍沿用红阳。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年8月，这里属都骑乡。同年10月设生产大队，归太阳升人民公社管辖；1961年则划入河口人民公社。[2]

1983年这里为红阳乡，归河元区公所管辖；1986年又成村委会，划入河口镇；1989年为红阳管理区，仍属河口镇。1994年以后属河口街道，1999年重称村委会，此后隶属河口街道。[2]

2020年12月，红阳村列入2020年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。2021年12月，广东省爱卫会授予红阳村「2021年广东省卫生村」荣誉称号。[1]
