村子在南阳山区，离普宁市区约32.1公里。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1978年分出自成大队，1983年撤村并乡，此后1987年才有村委会；1989年称管理区办事处，1999年定为村委会。[2]

经济[edit]

耕地269亩，山地2655亩。村民多从事农业，作物中以青梅、青榄与菠萝居多。[2]

村内设小学一所，道路已完成水泥硬化。[2]
