埔心村是大坪镇下辖的行政村，距普宁市区约49.7公里，属革命老区，村前有里后公路经过。[1]
名称与历史[edit]
明嘉靖年间（公元1522年至1566年），房姓一支从惠来下社迁来，在一片空旷平坦的荒埔中心开村，村名由此而来。[1]
新中国成立前属陆丰县，1950年3月归普宁县管辖。1952年时属十三区，1958年合入南阳山公社。1960年，南阳山公社迁出一部分地方，划入大坪农场，设埔心管区。1966年自农场分出，成为大坪公社埔心大队，1984年改为埔心乡；1986年大坪镇改区后称埔心村委会，1990年为管理区，1999年改称村委会，并沿用至今。[1]
地理与产业[edit]
村内有耕地925亩、山地7300亩，主要种植稻谷、甘薯和花生，山林出产青梅、橄榄、油甘、荔枝和李子等。[1]
村内有个体企业2家，设小学和医疗站。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，埔心村上榜「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
