高车村是高埔镇下辖的行政村，位于镇的东部，距镇区约4公里，广汕公路、高埔至柏径的公路与普惠高速公路在村境交汇。[1]

沿革[edit]

此地原属惠来县，新中国成立后划入普宁县十一区的自南乡。1958年公社化时划归一个大队，1962年并入另一大队。1972年分出后，四个自然村自成一个大队。1983年设高车乡，1986年改为村委会，1990年为管理区，1999年又恢复村委会的名称。[1]

自然与产业[edit]

村境包括4个自然村，分别为黄高车、柏径、车上和栅仔。普惠高速公路在村境设有高柏收费站，村内的普宁市高柏工业园区有不少工商业和饮食、维修服务业企业。[1]

高埔河流经辖区，村内有大窝水库一座、水电站一座，并建有自来水厂。村中果树以荔枝为主，属高埔镇的荔枝基地。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，高车村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
