山湖村是广东省揭阳市普宁市池尾街道下辖的行政村，位于池尾街道西侧，属革命老区。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村由黄岐山和龙湖两个自然村组成，两村仅一巷之隔，先人都在明末清初从福建迁来。[1]

1937年，两村华侨合资办学，校名各取村名一字，即「山湖学校」，村名由此改称山湖。[1]

建国初属三区，曾称山湖乡；1964年分出设山湖大队，1965年隶属池尾公社，1984年改设乡，1986年改为村委会，1990年为管理区，1999年定名山湖村民委员会。[1]

经济[edit]

村中盛产油甘、橄榄和青柑，传统副食有豆干和面条的制作。[1]

2020年、2021年和2022年，山湖村列入淘宝村名单。[1]

文化[edit]

2019年9月，山湖村列入2018年「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
