坪上村位于省道安池线旁，是坪上镇政府所在地，也是全镇的文化与经济中心。[1]

沿革[edit]

1958年至1983年间，此处为坪上生产大队。1984年改设坪上乡政府，1986年成立坪上村委会，1990年一度改为管理区办事处，1999年重设村委会，村名至今未变。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2020年8月，坪上村以茶叶入选首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单。2023年5月，坪上村获广东省爱卫会颁发「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
