湖洋村位于县城河婆西面，离县城约2公里，是河婆街道下辖的行政村之一[1]。

地名由来[edit]

此处旧时是沼泽地，当地人称之为“湖洋”，村名由此而来，村委会也设在本村[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1986年划出单独设村，1990年成为湖洋管理区办事处，1999年改称湖洋村民委员会[1]。

社区荣誉[edit]

2021年12月，广东省爱卫会授予湖洋村「2021年广东省卫生村」荣誉称号。2019年9月，湖洋村列入「2018年广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单[1]。
