新龙村在揭东县城北部，东侧与云路镇赵埔村接壤，南边连着庵后村，西面挨着莲花心村。博雅地名网称它交通四通八达。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清雍正年间建寨。1986年分出，设立新龙村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

经济[edit]

2009年，全村工农业总产值达491万元；人均收入为5023元。[2]

村里以种植竹笋、香蕉和蔬菜为主，并引进了笋干、罐笋的加工，也有村民从事毛织、印刷等加工。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2019年9月，新龙村进入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
