辖区内有工业企业150多家，其中规模以上企业8家（博雅地名网所载，年份未注），主要产品为不锈钢制品和化工化纤塑料制品。社区内有四个市场，房地产、中介、物流配送和社区服装服务业也有发展，并建有一座全民健身体育广场。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2006年，城西居委会被评为县三个文明建设先进单位，其党支部在党工委考评中多次获评先进基层党组织。2019年9月，城西社区列入2018年「广东省民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1][2]
