屯埔村地处揭阳市区西南，与潮阳区金灶镇、普宁市广太镇相邻，省道S236线从村中穿过，是仙桥街道的村庄型行政村。[1]
人口民族[edit]
面积6.8平方公里，居民8300人、1730户，耕地1680亩，山地2100亩，另有生态公益林2000多亩。[1]
经济[edit]
园林花卉苗木是村里的主业，品种有大叶榕、高山榕、凤凰木，还有非洲茉莉、蓬架子等。村子是广东省主要花木苗木生产基地，每年输往周边省市的苗木超过400万株。村里连续两年开办园林花木方面的培训，学员合计645人。[1]
文化[edit]
天山古寺在大湖岩，寺址原为明代末年的天然岩洞，后设小庙。该寺提出列入揭阳市「紫峰山国家森林公园」保护范围的申请，如今是融合宗教文化与自然景观的游览地。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
1931年属第七区，后于1939年改属第一区。解放后的1949年，村子归屯桂南乡，属十五区；1954年改称屯桂乡，划入安乐区；1956年撤区并乡，归古溪乡；1958年归安乐公社。1962年改为永西大队，隶仙桥公社；1972年独立设屯埔大队；1986年区改镇，设屯埔村委会，隶仙桥镇。[1]
2019年9月，本村入选2018年度民主法治示范村（社区）创建名单。「广东省卫生村」（2023年）的称号于2024年3月授予本村。[1]
