铺头村是潮安区归湖镇下辖的行政村，位于镇驻地北面约6华里处。它东面隔凤凰溪与新沟村相望，南面与明潭村接壤，西面与赤凤镇的浮石村交界，北面靠着后头山。全村方圆3.1平方公里。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1999年，铺头设立村民委员会，名称一直沿用至今。[1]

姓氏宗族[edit]

全村共有林、吴、邱、罗、翁五姓。林姓分为顶林、下林：顶林始祖在明嘉靖年间由饶平石壁迁来，下林于明弘治年间在此创居。吴姓分为顶吴、下吴：顶吴的始祖来自潭头村，清嘉庆年间迁来；下吴的始祖于清道光三年（1823年）由月潭迁来。[1]

邱姓于明崇祯年间由文祠去路头迁来。罗姓于清咸丰年间迁入，其始祖来自意溪锡美埔；翁姓则在清道光年间自文祠丁厝寮来到此地。[1]

经济[edit]

2020年8月，铺头村列入广东省农业农村厅公布的首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村名单，产业为佛手果。[1]

文化[edit]

在2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单中，本村于2019年9月入列；在2020年同名的创建名单中，本村于2020年12月入列。2026年3月，本村经认定成为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1]
